I am a CPA Financial Planner with a passion for service. I have spent the past two decades in the financial services industry with degrees in finance, accounting, and taxation.
I understand the importance of money management, because, like many of my clients, no one in my family sat around the dinner table having discussions about saving, investing, and building wealth.
Despite making my own financial missteps, I have gained valuable insights through experience and now have a strong understanding of what it takes to achieve financial success. Driven by a desire to assist others, I have made it my mission to share my knowledge and help people navigate the complexities of money management.
When I lost my corporate job during the height of the housing crisis, I saw it as an opportunity for change. With a desire to be my own boss, I took the leap and started a tax and financial services business with just a laptop, some software, and a determined spirit. The business flourished and my income soon reached six-figures, allowing me to not only replace my previous salary but to do work I am passionate about.
I became a financial planner/coach/educator because I realized that despite its far-reaching influence on our lives, money is not a commonly discussed topic.
By gaining an understanding of how money works, we have the ability to make wise financial choices that improve our financial stability, bring us peace of mind, and ensure a secure future for our loved ones.
